Grandpa’s Farm The Race

Grandpa’s Farm The Race is the first of a series telling the tales of the adventures down on Grandpa’s Farm.

Pepé is a very fast rooster, at least that is what he tells himself. Pepé also likes to tell the other animals that he is the fastest animal on the farm.

The animals are working together to set up for the big race. Instead of helping his friends, Pepé chooses to stretch and warm up for the big event.

The runners were waiting, it was almost race time.

“Wait, what is that?” someone from the crowd shouted. There was a small ball of dust moving toward the crowd. Could this small ball of dust be a surprise that the other animals had planned for Pepé?

It is Race day, Is Pepé as fast as he tells himself?

Grandpa’s Farm The Picnic

Grandpa’s Farm The Picnic is the second of a series telling the tales of the adventures down on Grandpa’s Farm.

Today is the farm picnic. Peete the little white llama is very excited. Everyone is packing their bag and lunches for the afternoon. Unfortunately, some of Peete’s friends have misplaced their favorite toys.

When they go to Peete and ask if they can borrow a toy, Peete does not hesitate to tell them, “No.”

Time to hike to the pond. Peete finds the perfect spot to empty his bag. When the other animals approach Peete about sitting with him, Peete has his own idea of where his friends can sit.

It is lunch time, an the other animals notice that Peete forgot his lunch.

Will Peete’s friends be as selfish?

Grandpa’s Farm The Toothache

Grandpa’s Farm The Toothache is the third of a series telling the tales of the adventures down on Grandpa’s Farm.

Everybody is excited for breakfast except Norman.  Binky noticed that Norman was not eating as fast as usual.

"Are you okay Norman?" asked Binky.
"I have a toothache," said Norman.

"Gobble gobble gobble," sang the turkeys.
"What did they say?" asked Norman.
"They asked you if we should call Dr. Longhorn," translated Pig.
"Dr. Longhorn the veterinarian," said Pig.
"Dr. Longhorn the animal doctor," said Pig.

Norman's friends think it is best that Dr. Longhorn make a visit to the farm. Norman is nervous about Dr. Longhorn making a trip to see him.
"Be brave, Norman," said Sally.

When Dr. Longhorn arrives at the farm, all of Norman's friends are with him.  Will Norman be brave and let Dr. Longhorn look inside of his mouth?

Reviews

* I bought Grandpa’s Farm for my 4 year old niece. Her favorite characters were the goats, Spanky and Get-a-way. Grandpa’s Farm is a great story about goals, staying focused and being an active member of a team. The illustrations are beautiful and entertaining. Highly recommend! can’t wait for the next book!

*I loved the lesson it taught… not to be boastful and not to have a big head. such an important lesson in life.

*A MUST READ!
